Ductwork

This electrical service is a fire waiting to happen. The conduit is not protecting the wire that is exposed to the outside elements. The wire also has an illegal splice that can cause a fire at anytime.

The nonmetallic raceways that supply this outdoor light show severe physical damage. It has no threads in the entries and the conduit has to be secure.

Poor Maintenance
 
This is an example of a fan motor when the maintenance is not kept. Changing out air filters at least once a month and servicing the unit at least twice a year is a great way to avoid this situation. This fan motor needs to be replaced which will cost more than the yearly maintenance.

This homeowner hired Joe Schmoe to save money. Joe Schmoe has used the wrong wire outside the home. This is illegal and can cause the homeowner an electrical fire. This will now cost the homeowner more.
